Arione is president of Non-Profit Solutions, LLC and operates independently as a non-profit consultant to assist local community & faith based organizations that serve at-risk and underserved populations. She provides training and instruction in fund development including, grant/proposal writing, collateral material development, strategic planning, etc. She also assists agencies with non-profit incorporations/organization, human resource management and other policy and procedure development. She has held various board positions on local and community based organizations. Arione occassionally reviews federal and state grants for various agencies. Arione presently writes and manages grants for a number of New Jersey, Maryland and Connecticut based agencies totaling over 20 million dollars per year.

Arione’s areas of expertise include, grant proposal writing, grants management, program development, implementation and evaluation, board development and training, donor development, high end event planning, strategic planning, general fundraising, direct mail marketing, major gift solicitations, and public presentations.

Arione holds a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business and continues ongoing educational and professional development opportunities.

Since becoming a grants professional in 1997, Stacey E. Abate has raised over $18 million from all types of foundations and government agencies. She began consulting in New Jersey in 2000. Current clients include large health care systems, small human service agencies, and individual schools. She is also a frequent grant reviewer for various departments of the federal government.

 Stacey joined the Department of Institutional Advancement at Georgian Court University in September 2005 and continues to be a contributing editor to the online newsletter Grants and Foundations Review. Prior to grant writing, she was an interpreter and teacher of the deaf. Stacey has degrees from Rutgers University and Colorado State University.

Wilson serves as President and Co-Founder of the National Educational Network, Inc. NENI, an educational non-profit based in Edison, NJ, serves at-risk communities and is a NJ registered provider of professional development.  Wilson created sister websites for NENI including www.grantadvocate.com and the annual Juneteenth NJ festival.  

Wilson is a $2 million award-winning grant-writer of foundation and government grants for numerous schools, non-profits, and educational organizations including the Mercer County Educational Technology and Training Center (ETTC).  She also currently serves as an independent consultant to several non-profits in the Tri-State area.

Wilson received her B.S. degree in journalism from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She has extensive journalism experience, previously working for four major media chains, including the Newark Star Ledger (Newhouse) and Dow Jones.    Wilson serves on the executive board of the Metuchen-Edison Area Branch of the NAACP and is the former Vice-President of the Garden State Association of Black Journalists (GSABJ).  Dana lives in Middlesex County with her husband and son. She also serves as a trustee at her church.

Denise Katula has been with the County of Somerset for seventeen years.  Starting in the Planning Division, she moved into the Community Development Division and worked with the County’s federally-funded Community Development Block Grant program.  Now in the County Administrator’s Office for fourteen years, Denise holds the position of Grants Coordinator with responsibility for overseeing the County’s federal and state grants that annually total over $40 million. 

Denise was responsible for creating a program to guide the distribution of over $4 million in flood recovery grants to over 250 small businesses affected by Hurricane Floyd in 1999.  Somerset County’s program was considered the state model.  She administers the County-funded Youth Athletic and Recreation Facility Grant Program.   She is also the Assistant Director for Leadership Somerset, a yearlong program to prepare citizens for civic leadership in Somerset County.  Denise has also been involved with overseeing the County’s Public Employees Charitable Campaign for more than ten years. 

Denise has a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Rural Studies from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.  She has completed Levels I, II, and III of the New Jersey Certified Public Manager Program.  Denise lives in Union County with her husband and two daughters, and serves in many volunteer capacities at her church, including serving as an Elder.

Dena Hartigan has been an educator for 27 years.  She taught on the college level before becoming an administrator on the secondary level. Dena has her Supervisory, Principal and Chief School Administrator certificates in New Jersey.

Dena started her own consulting business in 2001 focusing on securing funding for struggling school district in the Southern portion of the State. As a successful grant writer, Dena gives workshops around the State on finding funding and writing discretionary and entitlement applications.  Dena also helps districts meet the needs of the entire educational community by working with their municipality in leveraging funding through multiple aligned grants.
