Denise M. Robinson, BA. OM Professional Biographical Sketch
Education:
Educated through the Philadelphia Public School System, Denise’s first encounter with higher education was at the Community College of Philadelphia. After several years of attending classes as a part-time student, she transferred to and received an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Peirce College. Her Undergraduate experience concluded with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management, which was matriculated at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. She currently holds a status of candidacy for a Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management, which she has also earned at Eastern University.
Employment and Skills: Her professional career began in the healthcare industry. She served ten years at Graduate Hospital in several patient care capacities. After changing her career focus, she accepted an opportunity to work with one of the largest telecommunication companies, Verizon, as a Service Representative. In this organization she served in several lines of business and in several capacities, which included; consulting, facilitation and training, supervision, leading sales and finance teams. She began another career in the higher educational sector in May of 2004. Her current assignment is with Eastern University’s School of Leadership and Development as a Program Coordinator. Affiliations: Her passion to help others to succeed is the driving force behind her involvement in following organizations in the stated roles:
Personal: She currently resides in the quaint little town of Media, which is located in Western Delaware County. Her life is shared with Mark Robinson Sr. Together they support one another in parenting five lovely children, three adults and two teens. She enjoys reading, music, cooking and all summertime activities. Her lifelong mission is to support the needs of senior citizens to help them to live independently. She is the president of an organization, “Alpha to Omega in Senior Care”, which is currently in review for its 501( c ) (3) status. |
