Seminar #1

Seminar Title:

Demystifying the Grants.gov Submission Process

Outline or Narrative of Presentation

This session will provide participants with an online demonstration of how to register, search for federal funding opportunities, and download and complete an application within Grants.gov.  Grants.gov is the long awaited single government interface and is believed by many to have fallen short of its promise to simplify and improve federal submissions.  Thus, grant professionals from all sectors need to learn how to navigate and circumvent problems long before the first submission.

Specifically this session aims to answer the following questions:

bullet

 What is Grants.gov?

bullet

Why do I have to use Grants.gov?

bullet

When do I have to use Grants.gov?

bullet

What do I need to know to get started with using Grants.gov?

bullet

What types of problems may I encounter within Grants.gov?

bullet

Where can I go for more help with Grants.gov?

bullet

How do you specifically navigate within Grants.gov?
