Seminar #2

Seminar Title

 External Evaluation

Outline or Narrative of Presentation

Program evaluation provides agencies of all kinds with valid, reliable, and
credible data to address a variety of questions about how their programs are
performing so that they can improve them and learn from the information that
is gathered. A logic model can serve as an organizer for designing
evaluation and performance measurement by focusing on the important elements
of the program and identifying what evaluation questions should be asked.

This session will provide participants with strategies to:

bullet

 work with an external evaluator

bullet

develop a logic model for the evaluation

bullet

and implement activities that will not only assess program results but identify ways to
improve the program that is evaluated.
